About me
Vinh Trình has been an Epidemiologist with Cleveland Department of Public Health for 6 years, focusing on lead poisoning and sexually transmitted infections. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from John Carroll University and his Master of Public Health degree from Case Western Reserve University where he developed his skills in population health research methods and data science. His goals as a public health practitioner are to improve the lives of Clevelanders by providing meaningful and useful population health information from surveillance and administrative datasets for policy and program development. He enjoys helping his colleagues handle data more effectively, teaching interns data science and geospatial analysis methods, and inspiring conversations with other passionate and knowledgeable public servants and community partners.
