About me
I live in Olmsted Township, OH, with my husband, Arun Rao, my mother-in-law, Pramila Rao, and my 12-year-old daughter, Anika Rao. I have been in the software industry for over 21 years. We moved to Cleveland from San Antonio, Texas, 11 years ago. In my free time, I enjoy volunteering with non-profit organizations. I am the past President of Kasturi Kannada Sangha (KKS), Board Advisor for Northeast Ohio Women in Technology (NEOWIT), Indian Ambassador for Cleveland People, President of the Association of Asian Indian Women in Ohio (AAIWO), Excecutive Comittee Member of Federation of Indian Community Associations(FICA), Vice President of PTA Olmsted Falls City Middle School, and Key Communicator in Olmsted Falls School District. It’s my privilege and honor to be a part of FICA newspaper, The Lotus, as Editor-in-Chief, for the past 2 years, which has been serving Cleveland Communities for the past 58 years. I am an avid reader, and if I don’t have anything, I love to read.
