About me
Krysta is an urban designer and city planner who has been involved with a wide variety of architecture and planning projects of varying sizes. She rises to the challenge of looking at every project from different scales to develop creative design solutions. Her communication, organization, and attention to detail in everything she does, ensures a high level of coordination that leads to a successful project.
Oftentimes, data plays a key role our work. The ability to not only analyze raw information, but turn it into applicable knowledge is something that Krysta excels at. That information becomes the wisdom that guides decisions and moves projects forward. She also finds creative ways to incorporate technology seamlessly in ways that support communication, expand outreach, and enhance connections.
Krysta was elected to the American Planning Association (APA) Cleveland Section Executive Committee in 2020 and currently serves as Treasurer. She has been an APA member and AICP certified planner for nearly a decade. She serves as chair of the Historic West Cleveland Design Review Advisory Committee and is also a member of the Downtown/Flats Design Review Advisory Committee, demonstrating a strong commitment to design and planning sustainable and equitable neighborhoods in our city. Krysta is a graduate of Kent State University's College of Architecture and Environmental Design and holds a Master of Urban Design degree from their Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative.
